AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Iranian Embassy in South Africa marked the 47th National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran with a ceremonial event attended by a distinguished gathering of guests.
The celebration brought together senior South African officials, including ministers and deputy ministers, members of the diplomatic corps, government representatives, Iranian nationals, business leaders, traders, and friends of Iran.
The event was addressed by Ambassador Shakib Mehr, who highlighted the significance of Iran’s National Day and the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Iran and South Africa.
The audience was also addressed by Honourable Sindisiwe Chikunga, Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, who emphasized cooperation, solidarity, and shared values between the two nations.
The gathering reflected the strong diplomatic ties and people-to-people relations between Iran and South Africa, underscoring continued engagement in political, economic, and cultural spheres.
